BLESSINGS ON OBEDIENCE

"Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth." Deuteronomy 28:1.
This morning, I started my day off by reading a passage in the book of Deuteronomy called "Blessings on Obedience". The passage expressed how if you actively seek the Lord's commandment, blessings will be casted upon and overtake you. It clarified how the Lord "will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face" showing you that the Devil will come against you one way, but leave in seven ways. We all have those few people who will try to go against you. However, we have to know that our obedience in God's word is what will help us defeat those sinful beings. As some may know "The Lord will open to you His good treasures" (Deuteronomy 12), the heavens, and the blessings of all your work. He will make you the head and not the tail if you obey His commandments. As young men and women, we must not lean on your own understanding, but also in God's. For He knows what it is best for us.
